SG Law Connecticut Attorney Headshot - Claire DeVidas

Claire DeVidas

SENIOR ATTORNEY

Claire DeVidas has practiced family law in Fairfield County for more than 20 years, representing clients through divorce, custody disputes, and the complex issues that often surround them. Her work frequently intersects with related matters, including criminal proceedings, foreclosure, bankruptcy, probate, domestic violence, DCF involvement, and appellate litigation. She has particular experience representing high-net-worth individuals and those with complex compensation packages. She works closely with a trusted network of business valuation professionals, financial specialists, psychologists, and other experts to build the right team for each client’s unique circumstances.
Claire began her career as an Assistant District Attorney in New Orleans, Louisiana, prosecuting violent crimes, including domestic violence. That experience gives her clients a distinct advantage in court: sharp instincts for uncovering critical evidence, a keen eye for building compelling cases, and firsthand insight into the dynamics of abusive relationships. She is a Connecticut Certified Domestic Violence Counselor.
