Aidan Welsh, a partner at Schoonmaker George, recently returned from the AAML National Conference on Family Law in Dallas, where she served as a member of the Conference Committee.
The conference brought together many of the nation’s leading minds in family law. Aidan had the opportunity to explore how AI and emerging technologies are being integrated into legal practice to serve clients better. She also participated in sessions on trial skills, gaining insight from top family law litigators, and attended discussions on international custody cases, including how to manage evidence and navigate jurisdictional complexity across borders.
The conference was a place to learn and collaborate. Aidan connected with fellow attorneys from across the country, exchanging ideas on how to elevate the practice and outcomes of family law.
Looking ahead, Aidan will serve as Conference Committee Chair for the 2026 conference, leading the CLE programming and helping shape the professional education that drives the field forward.
