Sydney Legagneur comes from a large family, which has exposed her to the intricacies of family dynamics and the significance of finding inclusive solutions. This exposure has inspired her desire to work closely with individuals and their families, helping them navigate complex situations and achieve desired outcomes.
Sydney completed her undergraduate studies at Providence College in 2019, majoring in social work and gaining invaluable experience working with diverse populations. Following her passion, she pursued her legal education at the Charles Widger School of Law at Villanova University, graduating in 2022.
Throughout her time at Villanova, Sydney actively engaged with the family law society, assuming various leadership roles over three years and culminating her journey as the Family Law President. Complementing her academic pursuits, she undertook several internships focusing on family law, including placements at the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and law firms in Connecticut.

Her unwavering commitment to family law has motivated her to become an active member of the Family Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, where she aims to make meaningful contributions. Sydney’s passion for family law has been the driving force behind her pursuit of a legal career. She aspires to develop into a skilled family law attorney capable of handling complex matters from start to finish, with a particular focus on divorce, alimony, child custody and support, assets, as well as pre and postnuptial agreements. Residing in Trumbull, Connecticut, with her partner and their pup Dale-Murphy, Sydney treasures her free time, often spent hiking, exploring new restaurants, traveling, and singing acapella.
